Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility
At RAI Amsterdam, we are committed to developing the RAI and its surroundings into a green, healthy, and attractive place where everyone feels welcome and at home. Because we are aware of our ecological footprint, we aim to build a future that is beneficial for organizers, exhibitors, and visitors, as well as for our neighbors, employees, stakeholders, the municipality of Amsterdam, and its residents. A place where everyone feels welcome and at home.
You can also contribute to this; as a CSR ambassador, you work together with a team of colleagues to elevate the events and office of RAI Amsterdam to an even "greener" level. Below is a selection of our CSR initiatives:
Donation Room
One of the CSR programs is the Donation Room. During a Donation Room, volunteers (both employees and external parties) collect leftover items from exhibitors after trade shows to donate to social initiatives in the area around RAI Amsterdam, such as HVO Querido, the Food Bank, and the Salvation Army. Almost monthly, a Donation Room takes place, where you can sign up to participate.
Heartwarming Amsterdam
During the catering of an event, the chefs at RAI Amsterdam (the Basement Chefs) combine sustainable choices and collaborations into the regional concept "Heartwarming Amsterdam." This concept allows the Basement Chefs to fulfill every catering request with regional and/or seasonal products, making a clear choice to do good for society. With Heartwarming Amsterdam, there is a collaboration with many suppliers from the region; thus, the "Taste of Amsterdam" comes to life, and a lot of transportation is saved because the supply lines are short. We shape the future, now and beyond
In addition to the Donation Room program and Heartwarming Amsterdam, we are committed to even more CSR initiatives. Want to learn more about this? Read more here!
